Welcome! Your input is very valuable to us, and we sincerely appreciate your efforts to advance Language Access at the NIH! This submission form should be used to update the Office of Equity Diversity and Inclusion about instrumental steps taken to implement your IC’s Language Access Plan, as well as any areas that your IC has been unable to address. This submission form requires that a response be provided for every element outlined in the plan. If the IC has not taken action to implement an element, it is requested that the IC provide an explanation. The information submitted will assist EDI in identifying and assessing the needs of the IC’s as well as best practices for implementation. This overarching element encompasses what will be addressed throughout the assessment phase of the Plan. In this section use the Action Items in Element 1 of the NIH LAP to guide your response. Please note that your IC will have already addressed some of the Action Items outlined in Element 1 as part of your needs and capacity assessments.
