Analyst
Erin has worked in data analytics for a decade using programming languages and tools (such as Python, SAS, SQL, and Tableau for reporting). Currently, she works as a Program Analyst for the NIH Clinical Center providing analytics for the executive team (e.g., using Python to review Pharmaceutical data, automate processing of HL7 files, building out COVID-19 Vaccine reports in Tableau, etc.). She also manages their newly formed Data Analytics (Tableau) Team and conducts project management work as a certified COR. Prior to that, Erin earned a B.S. from the University of Maryland and then worked at Lockheed Martin for 4 years doing data management and economic analysis with their energy efficiency program. Before joining NIH, Erin spent 3 years at Marriott International performing audits, data manipulation, ETL processing, and other analysis to do quality checks and gain insights into their sales data. Her hobbies include traveling, running, lifting, hiking, and reading. She is looking forward to partnering with the various NIH groups and using data to promote equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts.
