Melissa Park has worked as a Health Science Policy Analyst at the National Institute of Mental Health since 2015. Prior to that, she worked at the National Center for Health Statistics working in vital statistics and managing surveys.
Park was trained in public health and epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research interests include health disparities, access to health care, perinatal epidemiology, and mental health.
Born and raised just down the street from NIH, she always considers Maryland home. She loves everything that the DC area has to offer such as concerts, festivals, art museums, and the Kennedy Center.
