Samir Chandra

Analyst

Samir Chandra serves as a Data Analyst (detailee) on EDI’s Data Analytics Team. He joined EDI in 2020 as an Accessibility Consultant in EDI’s Access & Equity Branch.

Before joining EDI, he was a generalist EEO Specialist in the Social Security Administration’s Region VIII (Denver) and Region X (Seattle). There he wore various EEO “hats,” including informal complaints counselor, reasonable accommodation coordinator, special emphasis manager, workforce data specialist, and diversity trainer.

Prior to entering federal service, Samir served two terms in the AmeriCorps program (NCCC and VISTA), where he holds fond memories of performing service projects across the nation.

Samir enjoys writing and recording music, singing karaoke, organizing social events/meetups, and trying new cuisines.
