What gained you interest in the NIH? 

NIH provides a great training environment for scientist and all the research done at the NIH is at the forefront of improving human health.

What kind of work do you do at the NIH? 

I am post doctoral researcher in the Laboratory of Behavioral Neuroscience, at the National Institute on Aging (NIA). My research focuses on understanding the neurobiological underpinnings of age-related cognitive decline.

What message would you like to send to young Hispanics who are considering going to college? 

College opened up so many doors for me, doors I didn't even know existed. I truly believe that one can accomplish any goal with hard work and persistence. College is one of the most important steps in accomplishing those goals.
