What gained your interest in the NIH? 

As a teenager, I was afforded a job opportunity through the DC Youth Employment Services as a Stay-In-School student at the NIH, as a Biological Aide.

What kind of work do you do at the NIH? 

I am currently an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist/Equity Diversity & Inclusion Strategist. Specializing in Management Directive 715 and Diversity & Inclusion.

What message would you like to send to young Blacks who are considering going to college? 

You can accomplish anything you put your mind to. An educated mind is more powerful than an army of a thousand!
