What gained you interest in the NIH?
I was made aware of NIH through the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) in regards to student fellowships for intramural research. However, I did not become aware of the administrative aspect of NIH until I was invited to join EDI as a Data Analyst.
What kind of work do you do at the NIH?
Data Analyst - mostly NIH workforce demographic
What message would you like to send to young Blacks who are considering going to college?
Don't let your current circumstances stop you from moving forward and achieving your dreams. College is the start of a magical journey, one that you have control over. Learn, grow, have the time of your life, but ALWAYS keep your goal/dream in mind.
