Joseph Benjamin Reaves is a 33 RPM vinyl record in a world of streaming music and audio feeds. Born in New York City in the 1980s, Joseph is a gifted and passionate orator whose life has been profoundly shaped by his upbringing in the Black Church. Embracing and living in his identity as a Queer Black Man since the age of 15, Joseph has engaged in grassroots organizing with the Audre Lorde Project on issues of safety and protection for Queer People of Color.
