Reasonable Accommodation Training for Supervisors
Reasonable accommodation (RA) is defined as any change or adjustment in the work environment that enables a qualified individual with a disability to enjoy equal employment opportunity. This course will fulfill NIH mandatory requirements for No Fear and POSH.
The NIH Reasonable Accommodation (RA) training program is a 3-hour instructor led training course with the goal of providing increased awareness of RA terminology and disability laws. While also addressing other topics such as: considerations for RA, the process for requesting RA, and Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities.
