Reasonable Accommodation Training for Supervisors
Reasonable accommodation (RA) is defined as any change or adjustment in the work environment that enables a qualified individual with a disability to enjoy equal employment opportunities. This course will fulfill NIH mandatory requirements for No Fear and POSH.
The NIH Reasonable Accommodation (RA) training program is a 3-hour instructor-led training course to provide increased awareness of RA terminology and disability laws. While also addressing other topics such as considerations for RA, the process for requesting RA, and Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities.
