Ilycia Schwartz

Reasonable Accommodation Consultant

Ilycia was born and raised in Florida, having graduated from the University of Florida (go Gators). She received her J.D. at American University Washington College of Law, in Washington, DC, where she has lived for the past 15 years. It was there she realized she could combine her lifelong commitment to advocacy for disability rights with her passion for law and public policy.

Ilycia has worked in the field of Disability Policy and Civil Rights as a federal contractor at NIH, DHS, and DoD, before spending the last five years at USDA as a Reasonable Accommodations Specialist. Ilycia is thrilled to be returning to NIH and especially excited to be joining EDI to support and advance the representation of employees with disabilities in the NIH workforce.

Ilycia is a diehard sports fan and when she's not working, she loves spending time with her Golden Retriever, Morrison, practicing yoga, enjoying film, listening to live music, and binge-watching guilty pleasure television.
